Anyone in Brisbane interested in at-home training

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Im thinking of having an in-home training session, and a trainer on the Gold Coast does home training using your equipment. For me, the advantage is that he would use my equipment, so hed help dial in the grinder, etc. (He uses your milk, but he brings his own coffee - and expertise). Sessions run for 90 minutes and are quite reasonably priced, but unfortunately, theres also a travelling time charge (not unreasonable). So Im thinking that if one or two other Brisbanites are interested, we can share the travel costs and make it worthwhile.
Im quite flixible because I work from home, so I can almost certainly fit any with anyones schedule, so if there are any takers, please PM me.
Mods - I dont think this post competes with any sponsors as none offers in-home training in Brisbane.

    Hi FW,

Im pretty sure Serge (Go Barista) also offers training in Brisbane. Might be worth giving him a try.

I ran one in Tassie a couple of years ago and if there are 6 participants, its doable as well....

Hope its worthwhile whichever way you go....Get a bunch of CSers together and you cant help but learn ;)

In case anyone is interested, I have just completed a one-on-one session with CS member BrighterSide who came around to my place armed with some "practice" beans and a stash of his home-roast. Over two and a half hours and probably 1.5Kg of coffee, he took me step by step through the coffee-making process until we were consistently producing excellent coffee (or at least I was!!).
Roger has very impressive credentials for a young guy and is just starting out in the home training area, although he has done cafe barista training and worked with impressive operations in Brisbane.
He is a natural trainer and empowers students to critique their own work, step by step.
I have done a few courses to date, including the Sunbeam course, but none of this was really adequate for my Mazzer/Giotto set-up, with all its variability. After a few weeks of thrashing around, it was clear that I needed a solid training session to get the most out of the equipment - and Roger cetainly got me there.
This young man has big plans in the coffee industry - and he tells me hell be using this forum to promote his services when he opens for business - so watch this space.
In the meanwhile, I can strongly recommend Rogers in-house training for anyone - novice to old hand. PM me if you want to be put in touch with him.
Thanks Roger - and good luck.
