Well, Ive been having some fun with my Silvia over the weekend - pulling shots, steaming milk and of course reading all the information I can on what should be happening. I dont have a grinder yet (coming at Christmas) so I havent been too worried about the fact that my pulls are only taking 15 seconds rather than 25. Knowing that I wasnt getting the true espresso that I could be, I decided to stop by at Mocopan in Sydney to try an authentic double shot. All I can say is wow... I think Ill be making milk drinks until I have my grinder. The difference in flavour was incredible! Full, thick, layered - and probably a whole lot of other things too!
Very much looking forward to being able to produce this kind of drink myself.
