Melb - recommendation for a barista course

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Id like to buy as a gift, a barista course for someone.

Can anyone please recommend some good places that offer barista training in Melbourne?

Re: Melb - recommendation for a barista course

This is far from an unbiased opinion, as I have had training from/worked with/generally been around the following for a few years, but IMHO both Chris at Talk Coffee and David at Makin Espresso are very good trainers. I suppose that it is probably fair to say that Chris particular expertise is in training people to use domestic machines and Davids particular expertise is in the commercial and competition settings, though I am sure that anyone would feel that they are good at all sorts of training.

    Cheers,

    Luca
