    Zippered Pouches with Valve

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight

Is it worthwhile investing in some of the subject pouches?

How often can you reuse them them, and are they better than airtight canisters at keeping beans fresh ::)

Im confused by what Ive read so far :P

Hi Rusty, per previous posts, quite often if you line them with a glad bag or similar and yes, better than airtight containers because you can remove excess air and allow the beans to degas ;)

    Anyway, works a treat. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

    as well as.

Use them to line the zip-lock bags and then youll get a reasonable number of uses before the zips give out--and no need no wash out the stale coffee oils.

    Greg

ps--the roasts you try from a good roaster will usually come in the one-way valve bags, thus obviating much of the need to buy them.
