The first place to start would probably be the local council.

And if that doesnt help consider seeking legal advice. Sadly, theres likely to be a veritable maze of regulations to wade through.

Buggered if I know, but I really thought you were (obviously!). As Trentski says, it must be your boyish good looks and personality...as Scoots has, in bucketfuls! (*waits for Scoota-Cat to pounce*) :-*

And now we are back on Topic.

Maybe also check one of your local small business centres. We have them over in Perth and are government run so are usually free to obtain advise from. They will supply you with all that you would need to know and who to contact for setting up a mobile cart.

here might be a good place to start http://www.business.qld.gov.au/dsdwe...nt.cfm?id=6603 Good luck with it.

Hi Matt, this comes under local council regulation in the area youre going to operate in , and it varies from each council. Larger health umbrella regulations also vary from state to state apparently
on your local councils website (most of them anyway) there will be a business section with food businesses categories. *Carts come under a temporary/mobile food stall and if theres no food handling/preparation/storage involved in your cart then it should be fairly straight forward.
i was surprised when i checked with our local council as it was easier than i thought it would be. *even the council guy who helped me was surprised. *He said he came from Victoria where setting up a cart had more regaltions than setting up a surgery!! *:D
dunno why were not as strict.... maybe us canetoads are tougher *;D ;D
hope that helps a little. *as i mentioned it does vary in different council areas.
