    Thanks to ThunderGod

Firstly, sorry if this is in the wrong section. I thought about putting it in the off topic section, but its definitely to do with Coffee!

I was in hospital for 10 days (got out on wednesday) and having a pretty rough time, when who should turn up out of the blue but TG, wearing a concerned expression and bearing an exquisite gift... a triple-shot flat white from Cordial.

That he stopped to chat for about an hour was a real encouragement, especially when I was on the wrong ward for my condition, in a private room with a non-working buzzer!

Not only this, he lent me a Kyocera hand grinder for my camping trip a couple of weeks before and this was used when I was up to it, producing on-demand (when I could beg someone for hot water) pourover. Ive got a fairly nasty neurological condition where pourover helps, but espresso helps more, so Theodores generosity made a real difference (and to the camping trip!)

    Thanks TG.

    John

PS. While Im thanking TG, I also want to thank Di Bartoli for the loan of a La Sorrentina for the camping trip. While Ive got a fairly close relationship with Renzo and Ofra, its a not-inexpensive bit of kit and it really helped with the neuro thing in the wilds of the Merramerrang.
