Looking for feedback on how to get coffee to a conference camp...

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Greetings!

Im attending a camp/conference in mid-April and Im looking for a way to bring coffee to the group.

When i say camp/conference - its conference-like in that like-minded people are all converging on the once place; its camping-like in that some people camp, and the overall cost to attend is pretty must cost-price plus a little bit - i.e. no-one is making any money out of it, they just want to make it rock.

At previous camps, people have brought stove-tops, and even small home machines - and at the last camp we were lucky to stumble across a two group machine at the canteen that we were allowed to use.

The last camp had ~200 attendees, so making coffees for the masses in the morning was quite demanding, and I must admit most of the coffees going out were not my best efforts ;)

The camp coming up has around 90 people so the demand should be a lot less. The camp is near Canberra in the ACT.

So - short of packing up my Giotto and Mazzer mini - and hoping no-one orders a long black (or trying to get someone else to bring theirs) - does anyone have any idea of how we could possibly rent a machine (or have any other ideas on how to bring coffee to the camp)

We dont particularly want to go down the path of having a coffee cart turn up, we like the idea of serving our peers good quality coffee.

Thanks Koffee Kosmo for the contact details. I dropped an email to Cosmorex and received a swift reply. Unfortunately we were unable to get what we needed - but I am happy that the community and CosmoreX were able to step up and help out.

    Happy brewing!

I know that Di Bella Coffee up here have a Coffee Cart and I think deals can be done for the right people to hire Vs having Di Bella staff run it.

Maybe some one around would be willing to hire out are a reasonable charge.

That way you still get to be part of the process.

Needless to say... There would be some conditions on the condition it was returned in and depending on who supply beans / milk etc.. It may be an option for you.

A few calls, ask around. *Whats the worst they can say... NO *;)
