    Di Bella Green Beans

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Anyone know what the new Di Bella discount is for CSers.
I went in around Xmas and was told $7 regardless of quantitiy, then on the next visit there I was told $7 a kilo discount.
Just wondering if it`s been posted here, I can`t find it. All I can find is Phils post saying %50 discount on green beans at Di Bella.
Anyone have any more info please.
    thanks

Might be best to call them to clarify as both stories sound "unusual"

Regardless, you will find the best beans <<<<<<<< over yonder in BeanBay as Andys are about getting the best beans, rather than the need to make a profit on wholesale sales. Give BeanBay a shot ;)

    Thanks
2mcm, I have problems with getting to pick-up points when bean bay happens once a month.
I have been getting beans from Di Bella for close to 18 mths and at xmas all seemed to be different, didn`t recognise any of the normal staff that had been there for a long time. NO one behind the counter seemed to know what was going on. One of the girls was really trying to help me and the other one told me to go home and ring head office, when head office is upstairs seemed a little odd, not the usual friendly service i had been used to for a well over a year.

I have just spoken to Louisa at Di Bella who was very helpful and informed me that it was $7 per kilo discount, the 50% doesn`t apply any more.
    Off for a drive.

    Re: Di Bella Green Beans

my very sincere apologies (phillip dibella) firstly for my lack of interaction on the wonderul coffeesnobs site... and secondly for the confusion on green bean prices for coffeesnob members...

i can confirm the following...... a $3 discount per 500grm green bean purchase... a $7 desount per 1kg green bean purchased and yes ALL the retail staff know this!!

the change in staff is due to many of our long retail staff have moved into wholesale positions or now own their own cafe serving Di Bella Coffee... that would explain to some why so many new faces... we always fill new positions internally first and retail is a great supply for this.... :)

    Thanks for letting us know!

Two years into my coffee journey, I still get my beans from Di Bella North Melbourne even though I have to drive across town every time.

They do a kickass big breakfast too.
Id love to see a discount on regular brown beans for CSers (wishful thinking?) for those of us who dont know how to roast our own ;)

I will not tolerate a single bad word spoken about DiBellas and staff , their service is fantasic* and those on the phones go out of their way to be helpful.

Then you throw in a discounted green bean price and minimal delivery charges , I applaud this company , and a company is only as good as its staff...... and they deserve high praise ... IMO

    Behmor Brazen - $249 - Free Freight
How do we actually obtain the di bella green bean discount? it is by showing the CS card?

If thats the case its another good reason to put in my first beanbay order :)
