Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi all,

I purchased some of the Guat a couple of polls back and am now kicking myself for not ordering a larger quantity. Any chance we can get some more in?

    Cheers

    Yeah it was great coffee.

The good news is I do have some more of that one and will put-up a poll in the next few weeks... sort of a mid year stocktake.

    Stay tuned.

    :)

    Hey Q,

how are you roasting you Huehue?

I have not really been satisfied with how it has turned out.

    Hi Steelo,

I am roasting with a Sunbeam Cornelious Popper

I like to roast 2x150g batches. The first batch I roast well into second crack and I like the fact that I get a dark bean with some oily residue on the outside. The second batch I roast 30 secs into second crack. Once cooled I combine both. I feel this combination allows me to enjoy both a straight espresso or a latte. (This could be just my imagination).

When roasting I like to shake the popper for about 3 mins to ensure beans have a chance to get evenly roasted. After 3 mins I find beans are light enough to mix by themselves.

    Cheers

This is a great SO. I got about 5 split bags of this from a commodity broker by chance and it was simply Awesome. I wasnt expecting much as the price was too cheap at the time, but it was a nice surprise. Unfortunately it ran out some time ago. Definately on my short list of coffees.
