    So, I bought some cups...

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
ACFs - nothing too exciting, but Im trying to decide which to keep :)

Anyone got tips on which are the most useful/versatile* for entertaining?

The espresso cups also have a little graphic on the inside, but even ACF dont know where theyre from, or why theyre like that. Custom cups maybe?

    Nice (and expensive) collection, tashie.

I find that the long black tulips are the best in terms of espresso to milk ratios although if you have guests who arent as coffee obsessed as us Snobs, perhaps the big cappuccino cups are also a good option (theyre also great for hot chocolate).

If i was only able to keep two varieties from those in your photo id take the black long black tulips and the red cappuccino cups.

Well, theyre different sizes actually - Ill update my post with what they are, just for peoples reference as to what s available in Aus.

Youll notice the red cappucino saucer has no white rim. This is the new range of ACFs. Apparently there is a problem with the bleeding of colour and ACF much of the new range will lose the white saucer rim, which is a shame as I think its part of the retro ACF aesthetic.

I found out the hard way. Purchased 6x red cappucino in Victoria and got the white rim .... I decided to get another 6x here in SA and ended up with red rim. Didnt realise the difference for a few days at which point it was too late to do anything about it.

    The white is much better!

The white rim is the whole reason WHY I like the ACFs in the first place. Im very glad that my 2 x Red tulips and 6 x Brown espresso have the white rim saucers.

Better buy out the old stock while you have a chance!
The ones without the white rims look unfinished somehow...
