    Ladies and Gents,
we have outgrown the current method of polling, invoicing and shipping.

We will be deploying a "new and improved" way of doing all the above very soon.....

It should be sometime this week with any luck.

3am and Ive just finished palying with it for the night. Its looking good too. The developer (Matt) is a whiz and after the initial testing and bug finding we should be able to fill it fill of beans and let the polls begin.

    Ill post more details soon.

    Sounds great Andy.

Thanks for sticking it out to such an early hour, :)
I would probably have knocked off a lot earlier and continued another day ;)

I guess we will be beta testers to determine the resistance to overload when the new polls are finally available, :D
I reckon the Bat chanell will be fairly busy,
from those of us waiting to be able to order another shipment ;)

    Regards
    Bullitt (Waiting for MORE beans)

P.S. Looks like I will have just enough decaff to make it, (thanks to another CS who lives locally), and will be interested in whatever else is on offer :)

being the other CS who lives locally-
I am real keen to get me hands on some of them new beans now that Ive helped bullitt out ::)
Perhaps others are like me and when ever a enw post arrives here you quickly get on line and see if its the beans-
    And then are disappointed! ;)
Sorry folks its just me clogging the system.

    Hey guys,

You need to plan ahead a bit more :P..... Ive still got more than 55 Kgs of great beans stashed away and just top this up when ever something comes along that really piques my interest or that I know is something that I cant allow to pass up. Gotta keep the stash topped up ;D,

    Thanks Mal,

Im gonna get to that stage,.... soon (very soon) ;D

    1. In the meantime, now I know who to pm when next my plan is mis-aligned, BTW how much of that 55kg is decafff, and how much of XXX and YYY have you got? :D
    2. I did more or less plan on the next poll being in the first half of the month (July that is).... :(
    3. In practice, budget constraints mean I will have to build up my stockpile at a discreet rate ;)
    4. I did underestimate demand, increasing list of friends who like to be supplied with fresh roasted, real coffee has also required adjustment to my planning ;) Oh joy at least things are going in the right direction :)
    5. Have got some beans stockpiled, but more like 6-8kg than 55kg.

Andy, I know from experience how important it is to get the new system properly tested before you release it. I am sure it will be worth the wait and the late nights for you ;)
(Just ask my mate who looks after database development at work, about the fixes of fixes of changes, etc.....)

    Regards

"Bull...more beans...itt" just doesnt quite work does it?":

Yep, thats the way to do it...... Has taken me more than two years to build up to this stash. Its nice to have some exotic green around though when you just feel like having something a little bit different..... My only problem is remembering where Ive stashed which variety, have got green secreted all over the place now and know that my limit has just about been reached. 65 Kg is the most I have had a on hand at once but not a patch on Javas bean mountain ;D.

Beans, must have plenty of beans ::),

    Mal.
Unfortunately my mountain has turned into a molehill since the Gothot was put into service just before last Christmas.

I had stockpiled over 100kgs so as to have enough to last a couple of years and beat the price increases I saw coming. Unfortunately once the Gothot was up and running it became far too easy to roast up large quantities and as a result my 2 year supply was gone in 2 months. :o Ive made 2 restocking runs since then totaling about 100-150kgs and am looking at having to make another restocking run here in a few weeks as Im down to about 25kgs left on the shelves.

The demand amoung my friends for CP has really skyrocketed since the Gothot came on-line and I made quantities of it available to them to the point to where I am now roasting up 6kgs or more a week just for CP.

Ive been going through so many beans that my provider, a local speciality roaster, has threatened to cut me off if I increase my orders any more as theyre starting to impact on his own roasting ability. ::)

Java "Not a mountain anymore, just a molehill" phile
