    Making a bottomless portafilter

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    hi
Im looking for a local service in Brisbane for chopping my portafilter to make it to a bottomless.
Im a student so I do not have a car to go where buses dont go.
I need help finding a machinery shop that would make my bottomless portafilter cheaply, like around 30 bucks.
If any of you have done in Brisbane or used some kind of service, please give me some suggestion :)
Bottomless extraction looks sooo coool and easier to tell how the shots will taste likeXD
Cant wait until I get one!

One more question; Im pulling shots with lm single because simply I want to have more trials with same amount of beans than doubles. But sometimes I serve for my roommate. For those of you have bottomless already, what would you suggest if you want to split the shots into two?

If your school has a shop area where they do metal work you should be able to get it done there. All they need is either a lathe or a drill press and a bi-metal hole saw.

Cant split em. No spouts - is what it is.

Single baskets are very tricky, you wont get alot of body. Ive never heard of anyone using a single basket with a naked pf before. Could be interesting.

i used to drink more milk drinks so i bought beans that would have rich in body so that it will cut through the milk.
After that i went to buy beans at Cup coffee in west end, i changed to drink espressos more.
I think singles are more sensitive to dose and tamp so i do want to see what is happening during the extraction :P
