    Cape Cod metal polishing cloths

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi all,

For those interested. just gave a quick run over the shiny bits of my machine. A quick wipe with a cape cod cloth and a buff off and Wahlah! good as new 8-)

Windex is also another Goody ;) but the cape cod can reduce slight surface scratches.

For cleaning (not removing scratches) I find that a soft microfibre cloth with a dab of Methalated Spirit works a treat, real cheap too.

Like the idea of the cape cod cloths, darn it, if its good enough for my time pieces its good enough for my coffee machine ;D

Im afraid my watch is tougher than my machine. I clean the watch with a stiff brush and detergent. Im sure this would scratch the soft stainless on the machine.

    I like microfiber cloths
My preference is for the thicker type over the thin ones

They work best when they are just moist with water for all types of work - from cleaning to polishing -

Just felt a cold shiver down my spine.

My Panerai gets a slightly softer treatment.
