Accessing BeanBay query - comments requested

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
This query is for CSers who use the Linux Operating System.

The query is "Which browser do you use for accessing BeanBay?".

In my case, my normal browser is "Linux Opera"; unfortunately I have had problems when pointing that browser to BeanBay. *I believe that I have identified and rectified the problem. But it would help to have a "fall-back" browser, if it turns out that I was too optemistic.

I use Firefox as my default browser with Linux...

Running Kubuntu Dapper Drake (Ubuntu with KDE gui) and have pretty well all optional Firefox plugins installed....

Works a treat for all sites (Flash, all types of multimedia etc....)

    Download from:

    http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/

Size is 8.1 meg (+ whatever plugins you need/want)

    A belated thank you.

(I have not got the hang of using the bulletin board yet and thought that I had not scored any replies!).

I have not tried firefox, but mozilla is my "fall-back" browser when all else fails. *And firefox is, I believe, a briefer version of mozilla.

No problem and welcome to Coffee Snobs by the way.

Firefox is not so much a cutdown version of Mozilla but a re-development. It is one of the very few cross platform browsers and now has a 25% market share in Australia and exceeds 10% globally.

I think you will find it is more compatible with IE than just about any other browser (it is the "standard" browser for the US government - because of security "holes" in IE >:().

Many sites even state firefox compatability (as well as IE and netscape)
