The Lapsang Souchong came as part of the newbies sample-pack.
First task was to find a totally air-tight canister for it -- wow, it can fill an entire house with its gunpowder-smoke aroma in moments!
But I have to say that once I drop a teaspoonful into my early 18th Century fine Yixing earthenware Chinese pot (usually kept on a high shelf but brought down for this brew), it truly is a regal tea, which improves as you let it steep between cups.
I just hope Ill be able to find a suitable leaf to replace it when this lot runs out .....
