Didn't have a dual wall glass cup big enough for the whole second brew so split it into two. First half of brew:

Every now and then will depart from my usual beverages and feel in the mood for something else, made a piccolo and macchiato (or a "pick'n mack" ) with my Ethiopian Sidamo Kilenso Mokanisa (natural) roast, quite nice

I made this for my wife's morning coffee on Saturday and Sunday. On Sunday she said she found it interesting that it tasted so much like black tea, but wasn't sure she was keen on it as she thought she should be tasting coffee when drinking coffee, if she wanted tea she'd drink a tea. I probably couldn't drink this bean forever like I could something with stone fruits or berries, but I love how varied the flavours in coffee can be. I ground it too fine this morning and it tasted like generic coffee flavour. I made my wife an espresso with a different been and she was happy.

Coffee Roasters sent me a bag of their Ethiopia Arsosala and Guatamela Finca Rio Ocho. Loving both; the Guatemala is magnificent for my espresso tastebuds as a magic, and the Ethiopia is just devine as a cold brew. Loving the tasting notes of both.

    Welcome to Coffee Snobs brewstr.

Did you purchase the coffee or did they simply send it as a gift.

A washed Cuban Serrano, my very first time roasting this bean, and it truly is delicious.

Double espresso is just ridiculously nice... sweet, chocolatey, rich, earthy. Nice sweet spicy herbal aftertaste! It's quite sweet, but strangely would love to find out a way to mute that a bit and bring out the more earthy and spicy notes... whether that be in roasting it differently or brewing, but will see what happens!

Not really earth shattering, but i have Espresso WOW paired with my new Profitec T 64 , and i am enjoying a very pleasant lingering mouthfeel. Not quite chocolate nor as sweet as caramel but decidedly more-ish.

Noooo.. this is my very last sip of my roasted batch of washed Colombia El Mirador... seriously it's gotta be one of my favourite beans ever... I must roast some more very soon! Very floral, sweet sugar cane, berries, orange.. amazing.

It's amazing how using good beans and simply paying attention can have you producing coffee equal to or better than 80% of cafes.
