Newbie needs help at home in Brissy

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Hi guys, I am fairly new to the world of coffee. Just before Xmas I bought a second hand Gaggia Classic with a Gaggia Grinder (MD or something) I recently had my bday and was given money so I could get a new grinder and have decided to buy a rocky (doserless)

But... I have no idea how to clean either machine properly and am worried I will break them. I make some nice coffee with my gaggia but would like someone with experience run through everything with me so I can be sure.

So I am looking for someone in Brissy (I am on the Southside) to come out and show me how to clean the machines and make sure I am doing everything right. And also set up the Rocky when I get it.

If anyone knows of a company that does this I will be very grateful. *:)

    Ok... *Doserless is good..

I would recommend two / three mods... * Si tubing, Teflon Tape and a click clack lid * 8-)

Depending on how far south... *It is a real pain to cross that river these days... And teh gateway is either busy and or just too $$$

Now the nth side *;D *:-*

Depending on the arrival and your time frames... I may be able to break the golden rule and cross over to the dark side *:D * or *meet *you some where on middle ground.... * *

Not too much experience with the Classic... But doubt it would be an issue. * *So unless another CS who might be closer and have more experience with teh Classic puts their hand up... *Drop me a PM.

Come to think about it... Mal is on the south side *;D *but may be a bit west *::)

    Hi cc2!

As Andy said, we do free one on one training at our factory at Bowen Hills.
All you have to do is bring in your machine and grinder and we will do the rest.

I would really love for you to come in as it is such a worthwhile experience - you have a good little combination going with the Rocky and the Classic and we can show you how to get the best out of your coffee and make awesome coffee consistently, every time!

And I LUV that you are concerned about knowing how to care for your equipment - too many people out there still have the notion that coffee equipment doesnt need cleaning - until it breaks down and then they blame the equipment and not themselves!!!
We have some cracker photos in our training room of a poor little Gaggia Classic that never got cleaned.....

Anyway, we are at 82 Abbotsford Rd, Bowen Hills and to book a session and time that suits you call 3252 5858.

I really hope you can make it in!!!

    See you soon!
    Kind Regards
    Anne

A well presented request .... And was it not great, to see the extended CS family step up and offer.... That is what I like about CS...

Wow you are all so generous! I was expecting someone to just rattle off some companies to check out. I appreciate everyones offers for help so much! I am in the Logan area so not really close enough for me not to feel terrible about putting you out. Especially Anger Management - the gateway is a killer! *:D

I might take a drive into Bowen Hills and check out DiBella tomorrow or Monday and have a look around, as I am a newbie I have next to no knowledge but am eager to learn. I havent actually purchased my Rocky yet, if you sell it there I can check it out. Plus all the accessories.

Thank you all for your offers of help and advice! *:)
