    Guatemalan

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi Andy,

Any chance of getting some tasty Guatemalan on beanbay some time?

Ive been really enjoying plungers of lightly roated Guatemalan SHB E/P washed Arabica (which I got elsewhere) lately. Ive still got a bit of a stash of it, but its so good that it wont last long :-)

Another Guatemalan fan here. From what I gather in Augusts beanbay banter Andy has a lot of central American beans coming up...

    Re: Guatemalan

I am new to this forum thing, at least the posting side of the equation - unsure where to put my two-bobs worth in - but in any case I would like to see if I can encourage some more Huehuetenango for the beanbay. I bought 10kg last time and have come perilously close to running out of my favourite blend base. I will have to console myself with some shots of SO Yemen Bani Ismail.

    Yep. :P

Im standing at the Snobbery packing todays roasted orders and I can see a big wall of green beans ready for tonight. Should be plenty to go around (I hope!) and with any luck enough remain so that late comers can still get some too.

    Cant promise though.

Actually, it was "too long after it started". You must have been more than 1/2 hour late as we had it in stock till at least 8:30 (1/2 hour is about a week in BeanBay-time).
    ;)

Everyone who was there at 8pm got some and Im afraid thats the way it works. There was a finite amount and once its gone its gone.

With anyluck we can get some in the future though.

    8-)

Must admit I forgot about it, didnt check until around 9.45 pm EST and still managed to score a couple of kilos of the bean in question, just lucky I guess. ;)

Sorry all... before the "+" number gets too big I have to tell you that it all got gobbled-up by the green piggies.

If we can land some more of this Ill consider it though.

    Those damn green piggies!!! :P

I was lucky enough to source some brown from elsewhere and I can understand why the green piggies gobbled it up - really interesting coffee in the cup!!
