I saw that KK.
But Im not going to spend time applying if the dollars dont suit me.
If Kate really wants to find the best shell put in the effort to reply, otherwise she might as well just advertise on Seek or one of the other such sites where you have to pay to advertise.
Coffees Snobs should be a little more personal than those.
EDIT: I checked Seek and they arent paying enough to retain me.
Might still suit someone else though.

Hi All
Im advertising on Seek and have done so in the SMH, but want to let other coffee trainers and consultants out there that this great opportunity exists - it was my experience when I got into coffee training that I didnt really know these types of opportunities existed until I stumbled across something online. We recently recruited a coffee snob for one of our other brands and love their passion for the industry - not a quality easily found on Seek or anywhere else! It was his suggestion to place this post. Im certainly not here for a free plug - Ive been paying plenty in print and online job advertising!
Just to be clear, its a permanent, full time role, with a great opportunity to explore cafe culture around the country and in NZ, and be a part of developing the future direction of our coffee offer. We also have our own online coffee forum for our cafes that would be yours to develop!
Great to see you replying Kate.
Also good to know youve already recruited one Coffee Snob.
It looks like you may well be a kindred spirit.
Youre looking for someone with a fair few different strings to their bow.
Good luck in your search for the right person.

;D
Hi Katef,
Would it be a wholistic approach to group based training or would it be more intimate 1 on 1 training?
Do you require certification of the training or just attendance style tickets?
I have to admit...after buying a coffee from the Sydney airport on Friday morning... i think your staff may need some help?

Hi Luke
Sorry for the delay in my reply. We have a training facility in Sydney, so the role incorporates group training, classroom style for new franchisees, as well as workshops for existing staff - probably a week out of every month, and then one-on-one training in the cafes. As we open new cafes, and as cafes sell, instore training and support is also part of the job. This could be at Sydney airport, Broome, Melbourne - any one of our 70-odd locations. This person is ultimately responsible for coffee sales and quality across the brand, so it would be helpful to have a training qualification. The coffee trainer would also develop new training programs and materials.
Regards
Kate
