Triple Wall Corrugated Disposable Coffee Cups?

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hello all,

This is my first post on your wonderful forum (ive been a lurker for a while, though) so apologies if ive posted this in the wrong forum.
Anyway, im looking to buy some triple wall corrugated disposable coffee cups in Melbourne (or online) but im not having a great deal of luck.
Ive found one or two places online but one has to purchase at least 500 which is a quite a lot given theyll be for home use (to take with me to work etc.).
Ive searched the forums for an answer but had no luck with that either.

Can anyone point in the direction of a store, be it in Melbourne or online, that sell this type of disposable cup in smaller batches than 500?

BTW Ive attached a photo to give you an idea of the cups im talking about (although id want a bigger size than the 4oz one in the photo).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ristrom and welcome to CS!

As you wish to buy in small quantities, I suggest you approach a few of your local cafes. One of them is sure to sell you what you need by the sleeve.

    Cheers!

Thanks Dennis, both for the welcome and the suggestion.

Ive actually now found a site (one of Coffeesnobs sponsors, actually) that sells the cups in lots of 25, which is handy.

I just need to work out whether to buy the 8oz or 12oz and of course i havent got any lying around to compare.

    Are they for personal use?
Have you seen some of the plastic takeaway cups that are reusable?
    They are pretty cool

Unless you *absolutely* need to dispose of the cup at the other end Id say you should consider a thermal insulated flask/cup aka a travel mug.

I plan on using mine with my new Giotto PP and taking a quad-shot for my 45 minute drive in to work. Should be nice and easy, and *much* better for the environment (not to mention my wallet!)

You could always ask a cafe for a price?

They are for personal use, yes.
Ive seen plenty of different takeaway cups, but never reusable plastic takeaway cups, though, no.

Theyre actually for my better half.
She just adores this type of cup (and doesnt like using her travel mug) so i thought id get some for her.

Ive only seen a couple of cafes that actually use this type of cup (most go for a cheaper kind) and theyre all out of Melbourne.
Ill definitely enquire next time im in those areas but i think ill just order from the site sponsor i found that sells them in lots of 25.

Thanks for all your help, guys.

Work on the 8 oz being around 240 ml and the 12 oz around 370ml individual cups do vary.

    Thanks for that.
I settled on the 12 oz and theyre a great size.

Its not ideal but ive actually used a couple of the takeaway cups i bought, if only because ive felt like a bigger latte than my 220ml Duralex glasses can provide.
Id love to get bigger Duralex glasses but i dont think they make any bigger so i might have to buy an inferior brand if i want bigger than 220ml.
