    Id give it a go.
As far as I can tell its a capacino in reverse, with the coffee being poured on the foamed milk. It would be highly dependent on the quality of the coffee, good shot = nice beverage.

Latte Macchiato http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Latte_macchiato is the drink your looking for. Had a customer a while back ask for one and after some translation of his description I made one of a fashion :-/

Apparently one from the 70s according to Chris N ;)

I think the dog looks like it is trying to ward her off drinking the horribe concoction... "Woof... I ate a large stick earlier and it tasted better than I bet that stuff does!!!"

To truly appreciate the subtle nuances of this 70s drink you really need a set of Kwality Italian glasses to suit. Only $2 at your local op shop ::)

    Re: Would you drink this?

I wonder what will happen if you pour a double ristretto over 200ml of (flat, non-foamed) full cream steamed milk. The cremas gonna float on top and itll be like a reverse latte.

    Re: Would you drink this?

Given the rubbish I have seen people put in their stomach there are no surprises here. I would think this could be a popular product amongst people who think this stuff is coffee.
