    Vasilis Garden 21/7/10

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Interesting segment on this show tonight concerning an elderly Greek couple and their backyard in suburban Sydney. Amongst the fruit and veggies they also had a couple of coffee trees, complete with cherries!

Check out the roaster they use on a live flame.

The episode should be available soon here:

She said she bought her coffee plant in Belmore!
I live in Belmore and have never seen anyone selling them.
    Damn!
I had to buy mine off the Bay of Evil and pick them up in a back street of Camperdown not far from Campos.
I wonder where she bought it?

Both Bill and Ben are safely in their spots.
Maria had them in pots everywhere and quite large.
Mine dont have that many cherries on them, being their first season.
Maybe Ill try to grow a few more from the seeds.

Ive been trying to propagate some seeds I picked in Mareeba (QLD) last year with very little success, if you can suggest a method that will improve my strike rate Id be grateful.
If you are going to Aroma Fest tomorrow I can give you a few seeds! *;)

I wouldnt mind a few seeds; especially if you know what variety they are as mine are unknown.
