That has to be good news for all concerned :)

Thanks for going to all the trouble Matt.
What sorta a price do the terra cups fetch ?
Just scroll up to Matts thread and click on the link. The cups are on the website.Originally Posted by 4D7B787A6D7B7B67574D6B7B7C697B71080 link=1312845659/4#4 date=1313894491
Great, I thought.
Placed an order on 21st August and paid, rang them twice over the past week to get a status update, leaving a message each time and had no reply as stated in their recorded message.
Sent an email on the 1st Sep without any reply as yet.
How does one communicate with E61 Espresso Machinery these days?
I do recall a CSer having a similar problem with his Breville Smart Grinder purchase.
Customer relations out the door it seems! :(
Having a similar problem. I have not yet received my order and I was in the original batch. Sent emails on 29 Aug and 2 Sep with no response. Will be trying by phone today.
Have just heard from Matt - my order is in a second shipment.
I sent an email to Matthew last night pointing him to this thread. He should reply when he reads it.
Ive had an email from Matt this morning saying he "will review this order this morning and provide an update ASAP".
Woot - TK cups arrived yesterday afternoon!
Check these babies out (excusing the lack of latte art - something I havent yet mastered...)
Pic 1 is with flash and Pic 2 is without Flash.
All I can say is, what a stunning cup - heavyweight enough to be user friendly and not to be overly worried about them breaking unless you drop them, but refined enough to be elegant and a pleasure to look at.* Im in love!
So envious. Still waiting on mine - should be here next week.
What does it take to guarantee cups survive couriers?
Beautiful cups Di and Scarey.... 8-) 8-)
They would have to be the prettiest, high quality cups you can buy these days. Very jealous ;) :D... I bet the coffee is wonderful from them 8-)
I have to say yes, Mal - its just the weight and the perfect thickness that they have a very lovely mouthfeel to them, if I can borrow the term.
Ive still got my light blue and cobalt blue one to arrive, and will order my red and orange one next order that Matt puts in and Im good to go with my billiard set!

Dont chalk up your cue for these beauties.... :o ;)
The mere thought of it sent shivers through me. :)Originally Posted by 634E4A464B270 link=1312845659/16#16 date=1316346079
These are a knockout arent they. I think I gotta have a set of these. I take it that at this point in time it is necessary to just buy one of whatever colour is available (assuming you can get one at all) and gradually build up a set of different colours over the next N years.(?)
Thats the approach Im taking - there were 3 colours left when I emailed last friday, so I took them all.Originally Posted by 635E525A48310 link=1312845659/18#18 date=1316514656
I got an email yesterday saying my payment was confirmed and that it was shipped. Hopefully they arrive tomorrow in one piece :D
Cups have landed!
They look great - heavier than it looks too
Very nice!Originally Posted by 5350454349414C50414E5453200 link=1312845659/20#20 date=1316641407
I think you should invest in these: http://shop.talkcoffee.com.au/products/espresso-skinz
What a great idea. I was a bit worried with using a small microfiber towel because it was covering the vents - Thanks Dennis!
Yeah - I have some of these. They are great. Depending on your machine you may need two for adequate coverage.Originally Posted by 75545F5F5842310 link=1312845659/21#21 date=1316645695
Hi specialpants. Just wondering if you have received your order yet. I also got email notification on the 19th advising my order had been shipped, but no sign of it four days later. :-?Originally Posted by 6C6F7A7C767E736F7E716B6C1F0 link=1312845659/19#19 date=1316516464
Kevo - I got my cups on the 21st.
I do live in Sydney, so I dont know if that affects postage time? If this is the case, you may find that it will be on your door step when you get home today (fingers crossed!)
It was pretty well packaged - lots of bubble wrap and paper shredding to stop things from moving around inside the box. (refer to Scarys picture a few posts earlier). I even found a couple of candy wrappings amongst the padding ;D
I shouldnt read this thread. I have a great selection of ACF cups on my machine, but I have definite cup envy!!
No, that didnt happen. :(Originally Posted by 4D4E5B5D575F524E5F504A4D3E0 link=1312845659/25#25 date=1316757483
Fingers are now crossed for Monday! ::)
Might have to email Matt Monday night if they dont.
Enjoy them, and the content held within.
Well, the package arrived yesterday, 8 days after notification of dispatch.
AND... Only one, instead of two cups packed!* :(
The box was plenty big enough to fit two. The included receipt indicated two. But.....* ::)
I emailed Matt direct to inform him of the stuff up and to see what can be done. Yet to get a response (again).
Why is it when you ring E61, the recorded message ALWAYS says everyone is on the phone, leave your details and we will call back in a few minutes. They NEVER call back!
They are great cups, but one for the price of two......!!* :-?
I intended to add to these two (if and when I get the second) but maybe I will have to reconsider that option.
Sorry if I sound angry. Not the case.
Frustrated?* ** * Absolutely!
My cups arrived today. Red and yellow. They are indeed a knockout. Beautiful to look at and nice and thick to keep the contents hot. They were very well packed which was appreciated. Now I have just got to have the other colours. I knew this was going to be expensive.
Mine have arrived as well. Must agree about the thickness of them. Not at all what I expected in that respect. Great to drink out of.
Mine are with me now too. BEAUTIFUL colours and a joy to use and display. They quickly went straight to the poolroom...
Matt assured me that -
"Our orders do come more frequently now (every two weeks or so)"
and with that peace of mind I have ordered more.
I should not have read this thread either as I now have to put in an order for these beautiful cups. I talked myself out of doing it last time I read the thread. But those photos and everyone raving about them, I just have to have one or two or.... Xmas is coming soon right??? :)
Just to keep this thread informed.Originally Posted by 153B28315E0 link=1312845659/28#28 date=1317269304
I did receive an email from Matt later explaining that he was short in the colour I ordered and it will be sent on when stock is in.
A note in the delivery box explaining the reason for only one cup being sent would have saved me the frustration and thoughts of an error.
From a 21/8 order with 22/8 payment; = a 28/9 (partial) delivery?* :-?
Ill happily wait for my second cup while my friends drink from an inferior cup.* ::)
I now have the belief that Matt is doing his best to meet and supply the increasing orders for these lovely cups.* :)
However, an improvement in communications (eg: response to phone calls) could/would save a lot of angst to online buyers.
I ordered my mugs tonight, Matt already has some and the others will be with the next order, cant complain about that ;D
Matt just posted on facebook about orders for christmas.
30th of November is the cut off date. :)
My first two mugs have arrived :)
Very very happy with them.
Congratulations, they look great!Originally Posted by 213A332237213A3B34263720520 link=1312845659/36#36 date=1319017639
Ive just sent Matt an email regarding my short order saga and it bounced back, apparently his inbox is "over quota"!* :-?
[QUOTE=0F23212123311D212A2B212923420 link=1312845659/35#35 date=1319000836]Matt just posted on facebook about orders for christmas.
30th of November is the cut off date.*
Did he state which Christmas?
Id really be happy to get my Aug order finalised by THIS Christmas.*
Apparently he is able to find time for facebook but not his own personal mail.
I would like to purchase couple of more cups, but I just cant go through all this again.
How can I put this nicely without offending anyone.
I ordered/paid for two more cups a month ago and I DO realise that a product that is being ordered from O/S then matched to specific orders, will take longer than a standard white cup off a pile in a local wharehouse.
As the purchaser, you do get a bit concerned that perhaps your order is now long forgotten, and that is where communication between supplier & purchaser is critical. Most customers are happy to wait for an order as long as they know they are still on the radar.
If anyone has any contact with Matt, could I suggest that they mention the need to respond to emails & phone calls.
In the same boat >:(
Rocky / Kaffee,
We are ALWAYS happy to refund if you prefer not to wait.
Just PM me let me know what your order number is and a refund will be processed before close of business - simple as that.
The E61 Espresso Machinery Co
I think that puts it nicely.Originally Posted by 0B25362F400 link=1312845659/33#33 date=1317897455
Ummm, well, actually I was just really wanting a response to emails that I have sent you. Perhaps somethink like "payment received, we expect to despatch your order around ......" but instead I still dont have an answer to a pretty simply question and somehow feel like all I have done is annoyed you :-?Originally Posted by 057671400 link=1312845659/41#41 date=1320868275
Ok, if thats easier for you, refund it is.............PM on its way.
Well, I guess "talk is cheap". It is now 4th December and still no sign of the "refund" that was so quickly offered (and accepted) on the 11th of November. Fortunately I have records of all correspondence and bank transfers so I guess it is off to the Small Claims Tribunal.Originally Posted by 6E1D1A2B0 link=1312845659/41#41 date=1320868275
What a shame to ruin your reputation on such a prominent forum.
How did you pay Rocky? if by credit card it might be easier to get that reversed than it is to go to small claims
Hi I am new to the forum and need advice. I ordered some Terra Keramik cups in Oct and am still waiting. I initially had an email early November saying that my cups were on the way. But no contact since then. I love these cups and am happy to wait as long as I know that they will arrive sometime. If anybody knows anything about when these cups may arrive or whether there is a problem with the company / supplier etc can you please let me know. My husband says they are a lost cause but after reading the various posting on this site it would seem that I should just wait. Helpnnnn
I put in a pretty big order on the 29th of Sept and havent seen anything yet. Communication has been a bit poor, but my understanding is that these cups are quite difficult to source.
I put in my latest order after successfully getting 3 cups from E61 on the 21st Sept (Order was placed on the 16th Sept). From this particular experience, Im going to say dont worry too much about it and just hope it comes before xmas.
FWIW - I didnt get any emails saying my cups were on its way in November. I may do a follow up email now...
From personal experience I can tell you that orders can be exceptionally slow to arrive but do turn up eventually. Coincidentally, I only today received the final part of my order from May this year.
Definitely not a lost cause, have faith they will arrive.
The company is really hard to deal with, they didnt even tell anyone they had discontinued a colour, just put a note in a box, so the orders were never fulfilled. Then you have every single one being unpacked and checked and repacked and if anything is wrong having to be reordered.
Very very labour intensive.
You wont regret the wait once you have them in your hands and are using them. They are beautiful in looks and in use :)
