    PID controller

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
couldnt resist - i just got this pid controller from fleabay for $30 including postage and a K thermocouple. the model is called N2006P and includes lots of features including auto tune.

ive been able to program it up and seems to work a treat....

they also sell SSR for $12 so this is a very cheap option for those of you wanting to PID your machines.

not sure how they do this for the money OR what i will use it in!

    Re: PID controller

Do you know if it has an analog output, or is it just relay/ssr?

    Mind posting up a link?

    Cheers,

    Troy

no analog. so no good for say fan speed control based on temp.

but great for heating element control with its inbuilt SSR drive and an SSR connected.

also 2 additional relay outputs as well which could be used as overtemp limit control points or alarms.

    heres the instruction.
