    Little Italy

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
So I was driving from Grassy Head (near Coffs Harbour) to Brisbane (near Sydney) and stopped off at this place called "Little Italy" founded and still run by some Italian families. The food was quite nice, the coffee was nice (it seemed fresh, which was a first for a while) and they had a museum of sorts where I snapped some photos of this coffee gear:

    First up, "grape seed coffee"...

And perhaps you want to prepare it in this top-of-the-line equipment - two roasters and a grinder!

Driven past a squillion times but have never pulled in.My focus is on the multitude of speed cameras and highway patrol cars that seem to be very common in that area. Must be the caffiene thats in the local brew? :D :)

Yep - always driven right past as its about two hours south of me and a bit too soon for a break. If anyone else is interested the area is known on some maps as New Italy and the museum is on the western side of Pacific hwy just south of Woodburn and called New Italy Museum. There are a number of sign posts as you approach from memory. The area is a nice drive too with forest either side of hwy.

Nice find iaindb. Its good thing you are an explorer even if your Bne-Syd geography needs some work.
Is the photo titled The Pomona Farm related to the Grape Seed Coffee ? The only Pomona in Oz I know is north of Brisbane and as far as I know certainly not known for grapes (but I will check with relatives who are "first settlers" there but French/Scottish).

Im pretty sure the picture and text were the only things on that board, but I could be wrong. They may have just picked a photo that looked nice at the time.

I know, is that all of NSW? It was crap. I hear theyre doing "average speed monitoring" now (or soon?) where they take your speed at measured distances and see if youve been speeding in the middle and slowing down for the cameras...
