Strange things happening up at Mount Tamborine lately.Kees has been experimenting with ''malting'' up a batch of the latest crop.In the same style as malting barley for beer.It will be interesting to taste the final result.I guess thats what you can do when you own a coffee plantation.Has anybody heard of anyone else doing this?
Hmmmm.....will a coffee bean 'sprout' after drying, and then immersing? I guess they are actually seeds, so who knows?
Here's some info about the two processes, malting and sprouting coffee seeds, 'pergamino' is the parchment which is removed in one of the final stages
of coffee processing.

Growing Coffee Beans at Home
I have managed to sprout a couple of beans that had been dried. However also had quite a few failures when I tried to repeat it. They started to sprout, got a little tail happening, but then karked it.
