Old ground beans.
I was searching through the pantry the other day and came across some ground beans I had forgotten about . I estimated that they would have been at least six weeks old so I thought I had nothing to lose and made a drink from them using my moka pot. Well I was astounded at the taste to say the least, bloody fantastic. They were an Indo bean roasted in a popcorn maker to my usual specs. Has anyone else come across this ie not so fresh grind giving a better cup than freshly ground ?
