Bellman Steamer and Portaspresso Rossa Air PG (Brass)

I picked up a Bellman CX25 stove top steamer today from forum member Jeanette (thanks Jeanette!) Drilled out the single hole on the steam tip to 1mm and put it on the stove to heat up, filled up to halfway with boiling water from the kettle to speed up the process. Waited till the OPV started to release some pressure and then started steaming a 16oz pitcher of milk. WOW!! Fantastic micro-foam and very silky. I have read that several people have struggled with the Bellman which makes me think that they aren't using it correctly or my drilling out the steam tip made a vast difference.

Can't wait for my Portaspresso Rossa (Air PG) to arrive this week!! I am expecting with this sub $1100 setup (although I do still own a Mazzer Super Jolly) which includes a Rosco Mini Hand Grinder and the Bellman Steamer that I will be making superior coffee to most prosumer machines worth several thousands of dollars more. I have already tasted the espresso from a Portaspresso that I demoed recently and it is the real deal. I will post up a video and review once the gear has arrived and I have it dialled in.

So, where is your review? It's a long time since your post. I'm curious if you still have it.
By the way, why did you decided by the brass, instead of aluminium?
