    Black Sheep Robusta Revival

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Just wondering if anyone has tried Black Sheep Robusta Revival (Single Origin)??? Black Sheep are an English company so perhaps not many here would have... The beans are from Sethuraman Estate in India... I've been keen on trying some robusta from this estate and wondered if anyone had tried them and cared to pass judgement...

I'm told they are also considering a good Liberica to be part of a new blend they are creating...

I think I read a post on here that Veneziano (site sponsor) was offering robusta from the same source tho I can't recall if it was single origin or part of a blend....

I'd prefer to locate some of these beans as single origin in Aus / NZ, but haven't so England is then next best option...

Single Origin level robusta from Sethuraman Estate is also referred to as RKR or Robusta Kaapi Royale and can be sourced here in AU so there is no need to order from the UK. What sort of quantity are you looking for?

I was really just thinking of ordering one of the 220gram packs so I could sample this robusta I keep reading about on the net... So I guess I'm really just after a small pack around the 200gram mark give or take....

A Pack and Track parcel from AU to NZ will set you back $16.55 and regular, and slow, Airmail will cost $10.55 for postage alone so it would hardly seem worthwhile to buy a mere 200g of the RKR to try. It would prove far most cost effective buy a few kgs to play with instead.

Surely this outfit should release a 'Proud Mary' blend.

I guess I could buy a kg and if it's undrinkable on it's own I can have a play around with some blends...

However my parents live in Nowra, NSW so I perhaps if I paid someone could send it to them and they can bring it over with them in November (so obviously will wait to order until closer to the time...)

Could someone tell me where in Nowra or I guess even Sydney can some of this robusta freshly roasted be obtained??
