You beauty. 2 or 3 coffees during the day and a glass of red with dinner. Perfect.

Ahan! Such good news! Because off late I have been pestered now and then to quit this lovely habit of mine citing the 'fact' that it is bad for stomach and skin and etc etc! Now I can share this

I hear you @saroadie not that I ever doubted this information. It's just that when I read that coffee loves the liver, it made me uncork that old cabernet sauvignon I had been aging. Cheers Yelta

Too many crazy people bad mouthing coffee.. but for every source against you can find many in favour, particularly the research that comes out of the US. The skin concern is what always amuses me. There is a pretty huge number of people who scrub coffee grinds all over themselves because they swear it does wonders. I wouldn't know, my coffee journey has not led me to that level yet haha.

The stomach concerns are also misguiding. I think if they are referring to the effects of milk on some peoples bodies, then there is validity to the argument. Espresso itself though or a filtered brew is not going to kill off your stomach though. As the article says at the end, there are genetic makeups that can make coffee affect your body differently to another. I used to fall asleep after a coffee (no joke). That does not happen anymore. This is great. My liver took a hammering when I was at uni. Here I am, repairing the damage 20 years later.
