Is the Ethiopian you speak of the one tested at the last CS bean dividing session? I hope so. The shot produced by Ed with his bomb squad precision was fantastic and the aroma of the whole bean unbelievable.

Any progress on obtaining a bag of a cup of excellence winner?

    Hi Thomas,
I have a couple of Robustas lined-up. Should know more in the next week.... but they are coming.

I am also looking at a some PNG, Indo and Mex specials.

Soon you will have too much choice! Will post more details when I know them

    Andy.

YES! Some progress but no firm dates yet. This is in the pipeline and although the prices will be high I too am keen to findout what the winners taste like.

Rest assured it is in our priority list.

We are all here to experience coffee different than the norm and to have access to such prized bean really shows the power of this buying group of passionate consumers.

For me, whether or not the bean costs $5kg or $100kg (JBM) I am trying to experience all that coffee has to offer and the price is insignificant. The general price of coffee offered at $5kg is extraordinarily cheap compared to the other options, so to occasionally pay for an expensive bean with such decoration and in such short supply, the price doesnt really come into consideration. I see it as another step towards achieving coffee nirvana.

Cant wait to get my hands on such fine beans.

    Dan
