Sometimes we overlook the important things. This is what matters most:
The body can depend on the coffee being used.Water on the top of the puck can be caused by too fine a grind or under-dosed. But that would likely show up in the tastehappy with my shot, good crema, colour and volume all seem to be great, tastes good too.
The first is easy to fix: try a different bean with good body such as a South American bean or a blend containing it.
If you are happy with the coffee you are drinking now, I wouldn't worry about water on the puck as long as the puck itself is firm, but...you say your coffee tastes good. Why worry about i? Enjoy it.
