    Coffee Acid Kits

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi there,

Just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction in finding coffee acid kits/solutions in relation to Q grader training? I have been led to believe they are available, but I haven't been able to locate anything on the google machine.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers,

Do you mean the sensory kit stuff that Di Bartoli sells?

You mean the Le Nez kits? Cost a bomb. I did a course with them. Very difficult. We were doing blind testing and I think I got about 3 right. To be accredited you need 100%.

There's a component of the q grader course which requires matching pairs of organic coffee acids eg citric, lactic, acetic etc.
I already bought the (incredibly expensive) Revelation Le Nez a while back and am slowly working at it but it takes the me to build the olfactory memory.
I have contacted Cafe Makers aka Andrew Hetzel to see if they can point me in the right direction. I would try to put them together myself but not confident in ratios etc.
    Here's a link I found if anyone's interested in having a look!

    Cheers.
