    Pests and Greens

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Are there many pests that attack greens. I store mine in the linen cupboard, but will probably get a box once i get complaints from the smell thats building up, are their any nasties that will try to infest my beans?

    Thanks
    Andrew

Mine are kept out in the garage. I have not had any problem with pests. Two years and no issues seem reliable to me.

    Yep,

Same here, although I store the beans all around the house in various cupboards and cubby holes. The longest Ive stored beans for is about three years, and they were absolutely perfect. I think a location that is well ventilated, with stable humidity and temperature is the most important irregardless of where that might be in your house.

    Cheers,
    Mal.

Andrew, I bought a big blue plastic square box from the childrens section in Ikea. The lid is loose fitting and has a hole in it so as to give ventilation to the beans and it also has wheels to easily pull it out of the cupboard.

These are relatively cheap and hold quite a lot of beans. They also stack well too if needed.
