    Meet the avolatte.

    Pleased to meet you Avolatte.

This can be a revival thread. The craze was over before it started.

Next step. Whip the avo and coffee together to create a new (new) super food trend. Housing-market-proof coffee

    No explaining human behavior.

"In fact a barista at the cafe, Jaydin Nathan, confirmed the obvious to news.com.au that, yes, “it was actually just a joke”.
“We weren’t actually selling them but then someone came in today and wanted one,” he said."

    Meet the avolatte.

Coffee drinkers unite! Give pips a chance.

Break free from the shackles of drinking from a cup.

Why waste a perfectly pristine take away cup when you could drink out of an avocado skin.

(Looking for link to Starbucks customers suing for burns from spillage post drinking from avocado skins)

Certainly a whole lot more environmentally friendly than take away cups.

Random sizing but we will try and ship a matching pair.

Seasonal discounts may apply but BeanBay will show the current pricing at time of ordering.

This will now be the top trending avocado coffee cup site on the web.

I'll be able to tell my kids one day I was there at the beginning!

    All proceeds to first crack.

I'm just disappointed that the order quantity maxes out at 20!!

Crucial to double-cup and preheat though, that's where a lot of people get it wrong. 🤔

What is optimum days post avo cutting and emptying to utilise as the cup? And at what point would it peak. Does the ageing need to match the beans or would a fresh avo skin compliment aged beans? So many questions....

Want to give this a go but don't want to waste those precious avo cups!

    Cheers

More importantly, to blend (garlic, lime, spice, salt) pre- or post-press? 🤔

I know it's probably heresy, but I've been wondering if I can zip lock up my avocups and freeze them for later use?

Avos can turn so quickly! You need to catch them at just the ripe moment.

    Meet the avolatte.

Av gas?! This is beginning to sound more and more like rocket science to me.

If only we could harness this gas for good and not ill.

Best to buy them green and home-ripen. It's not difficult and can become addictive!

I'm thinking we need a variation on the CS roast depth card for avo ripeness... 🤔

I guess a sub forum called AvoSnobs will be imminent.

I tried a brew tonight and was duly impressed.

I used a medium ripe Avo (around AS7) under dosed shell (8g SRA - Shell Residual Avo) using a precision scoop for prep (I found the VST scoop too finicky) with a light polish on the inside of the shell with the back of the scoop to create a uniform surface and aid the even ATCFT (Avo To Coffee Flavour Transfer).

I then pulled a double ristretto into the shell with a lower brew temp of 88 degrees so as to not burn the avo oils.

Quite nice. Will try next time with diced boiled egg added.

    Cheers

Disposable coffee cups are bad for the environment because the plastic liner takes so long to biodegrade. Don't go making these environmentally friendly avocups take longer to biodegrade thereby negating any positive effect on the environment. This is shopping bags vs "enviro"-bags all over again!

Avo peels take ages to break down, even in a worm farm. The period beginning in the late 2010s will probably be identified by future archaeologists as a distinct epoch, which they will term the avoocene. 🤔
