Distilled Water for Third Wave Water

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Thought Iíd try Third Wave Water, and need to pick up some distilled water.

Would you use the stuff from the cleaning section in the supermarket? Itís probably but intended to be consumed! Not sure if this really matters or not.

I understand distilled is not good to drink due to lack of minerals, but if Iím adding them back am I good to go?

Or is there something else I Should be looking at? Im not sure thereís such a thing as distilled water intended for drinking.

Distilled water is distilled water (or at least it should be) but if you are buying in cleaning section, laundry section or auto section the container might not be food grade.

It's more about the packaging than the contents.

Just get the Pureau brand water from super market, cask / goon bag. Fairly sure they use some kind of R.O and its as good as distilled for making TWW.

Wools also sell another brand in the bottled water section in 5L plastic and from memory they advertise it is distilled. Works out a bit more $ than the Pureau, but at least the bottle can be recycled.

    Hi
    a
I particularly like the statement on Third Wave Water's site where it says "No chemicals" :-)
And it was featured on "Shark Tank" so it has to be good.
