Coffee - going the extra mile
Just reading in the Courier Mail paper this morning about a Charleville(outback Queensland town) Cafe owner who is in Sydney at present. Charleville is getting cutoff by flooding at present and the locals couldn't get their caffeine fix as the Barista was isolated out of town due to flooded roads.
The cafe owner hired a helicopter to pickup the Barista and fly them into town to keep the coffee flowing.
Now that is customer service!
Cheers, Maurice.

We had excellent coffee in Charleville at Heinemanns bakery.

Heinemann's do have a pretty good rep for both their baked products and their coffee....

I lived in Charleville for 12 months in 1974 when I was a 'Bank Johnny'.
Great little town. Great Pubs. We used to have a good Gliding Club also as plenty of Thermals in summer in that neck of the woods.
In those days "coffee" meant Instant.
