yeah baby- Im up for that ;)
yeah baby- Im up for that ;)
likewise!
Yep - same here.
Everyone who had some of the first lot was mightily impressed.
So Glad you boys were impressed :)
I will add my voice here too....
Please Andy Im almost out :)
Me too! Me too!!
That was (and still is )a wonderful Darjeeling.
Definitely interested in more high grade tea
If you havent tried any, you should try the chinese monkey tea. Its a nice green tea, subtle flavour and light golden colour. Its picked by trained monkeys, and is usually quite expensive.
Yep,
Count me in.
Do you have any other faves Clare that you think we should try? Your call on the last lot was spot on.... absolutely great tea.
Mal.
I find chrysanthemum tea quite pleasant as well. Green/white teas I tend to prefer, since Oolong and other fermented teas are a bit overpowering. Teet goon yum (iron buddha tea) is a darker tea that is nice, especially after a lot of oily foods.
In fact, theres probably not any Chinese tea that I wont drink. Helps when the other half is from that part of the world and can introduce me to the multitudes of styles of tea.
WOW... interesting thread, I didnt know there was that much interest.
We can get tea again, not a problem. Ill findout whats GREAT and available for the next polls.
I also have a few kilos of the previous tea if people are interested in that too.
See!!!
I told ya Andy ;)
hmmm... I am sure there will be some more good teas on offer... perhaps a fresh crop (new season) will be avaliable soon?
Hi Andy,
Ill take a kilo of the last lot off your hands if its still available. What have you got left???
Cheers
Rob
Sure. *Some went (off-line) and I have enough for you too.
Ill send you an email.
A.
All gone now till next time. :)
My inlaws are pressing me for some more of the Darjeeling so you can add my vote to the list for more tea...
mycle.
Id be keen for some more green tea within the next few polls. Almost out of the Gunpowder green tea (gave too much away at Xmas :( ). This was a very popular gift and it makes for a great cuppa at work. Im open to suggestions from tea experts as the Gunpowder green was an excellent choice.
Id be up for some black tea. Not such a fan of the green.
I think it would be a good idea to alternate between a green and a black if possible.
Weve tried the Assam Baghjan (GFBOP) recently and found it to be a very nice cup. Its a broken leaf tea (unlike the Darjeeling which was a whole leaf). Its like a very good quality English Breakfast tea.
Id be happy with something like that (or Darjeeling again).
Anyone else have a recommendation for a black tea?
Brett.
Id also love to grab some quality black tea :-) Dont know a whole lot about quality teas, so I would love to get some exposure to some.
Ben
I personally loved the Darjeeling. Not overly fond of the green. What about a good quality Sri Lankan tea. Dilmah have had some very fine quality high grown teas which dont seem to be on the shelves any more. Having said that a good Assam would also be nice.
Yep,
Yall got my vote..... I prefer black tea also but dont know enough about the subject to identify one in preference to another :(.
I dont know if Clarexican is about yet or not, but she knows a lot more about good teas than most people I know, so perhaps if shes lurking around she might be able to throw some options up for us :) to facilitate a bit of a short list.... maybe? Or perhaps if there is another tea connoisseur among us who knows his/her stuff, they could do likewise ;D... pretty please?
Cheers,
Mal.
