    Yes I did see that.

Those machines have the highest warranty return rate of any in the planet.

I think there have been 3 house fires caused by these and many others with water damage when the low quality internal components have failed.

    DO YOUR RESEARCH

    BUY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

I wouldnt have one in my house if you paid me!

Yeah, Im with Andy. Not because I think the machines are crappy - I dont really know anything about them, but because I really, really doubt that they will only make 20 of them. You might have to wait a bit longer to get one, but Im sure that youll be able to get them retail for far, far less than at the auction.

There isnt much info around about the new machine, though. The sole photo that Ive seen of the machine over on the HB thread (http://www.home-barista.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=648&sid=92cd38c94dfcf9b4d8df9652fc 356983) has the lever in the upright position, which would seem to imply that it actually is a very different machine from the other la pavonis; it would be a spring lever machine, like the Elektras. Neat. But Id probably be swinging more towards the Gaggia Achille, which has a 58mm pf and is, reputedly, a heat-exchanger machine (steam want has a panarello, so youd want to do some surgery to replace it with something else).

So whats with all of these lever machine manufacturers not disclosing much information?

    Cheers,

Luca 30 year old La Peppina for $130 all the way C

Well to be honest I nothing about them either but Im sick to death of this joker spamming CS under different usernames that I thought the best action was to poo-poo the machines.

Previously we just deleted his posts, then the second time we edited them, and the next time he posts this sort of marketing crap to our site Ill start a anti-pavoni campaign that makes him wish he never tried this stunt ;D
