The "venti" or largest version of Starbucks Dark Berry Mocha Frappuccino, a limited offer for the summer, contains 561 calories - more than a quarter, WCRF notes, of a womans daily calorie intake.
So... as long as "she" only has 4 a day then there is no problem?

...and everything after lunchtime is espresso.

    ;D

Of all drinks starbucks make i actually dont mind their frappacinos, however as the article says they are very high in fat/sugar/calories. The lite frappacino is nowhere near as bad and tastes as good if not nicer. I believe it has artifical sweetener. But then they say that gives you cancer too, so...

Plus all that milk, not good for you either...

Problem Ive found is that particularly Starbucks, dont actually use any espresso or real coffee in their frappucinno, just flavouring. They taste nice, but youre not actually getting any caffeine.

Theyve modified their menu to include the espresso frappucino which includes a shot of espresso in your iced coffee nowadays...

I have to say tho, well done to them for putting it in a blender... the standard iced coffee which most cafes make with hot coffee stirred over ice with whipped cream on the top is rubbish...

In my opinion the perfect iced coffee is achieved this way:

    In a blender mix:
    2 metric cups of ice
    1 shot of espresso
1/4 sugar syrup. (This is about 2 tbsps of sugar dissolved in about a 1/4 cup of boinling water as it wont dissolve in ice or cold milk)
1 large scoop of ice cream
    Blend and serve.

Note: you need much LESS espresso than you would normally use and much MORE sugar than you would normally use, even if you dont like it very sweet. The cold temperature really ramps up the bitterness of the espresso 1000%.

    Enjoy :)

Id have a second shot of espresso in there, but thats me.
The rest looks good except maybe a little less ice and it definitely needs milk.

Perfect Iced Coffee (well I think so)

1 scoop lite vanilla ice cream
pour over 1 espresso shot (out of the fridge, but can be straight off the machine if desperate)
top up with cooold lite milk
if over 30C, find a shady spot to sit & drink it
