Yes - I ve been drooling over the photos for the last few weeks. *I really like that neon or whatever it is. *Makes the Unico Splendors yellow "retro" stickers look extremely naff and cheap. Especially next to such a lovely looking body. If I had a Splendor, Id be losing that tacky looking stuff and looking for something like this gorgeous Galatea lighting to replace it with. Looks like it would be possible.

I thought the Galatea looked great... although the wire cup warmer sides look like one of those shaky-hands wire puzzels that go beep when the ring and wire touch.
Which could be yet another CS mod ;)
I wonder if the Unico Splendors sides can be replaced with a CS logo? :)
With regard to the business above on the Splendor: "...Makes the Unico Splendors yellow "retro" stickers look extremely naff and cheap. Especially next to such a lovely looking body. If I had a Splendor, Id be losing that tacky looking stuff..."
I wouldnt normally butt in on a thread on someone elses product but there are 2 things that can be said with regard to the above.
1) If you take a look at the Splendor "in the flesh" you will see that the plexiglass panels make the total package look unbelievably attractive although yeah, its all subject to individual taste. If you take a look at the panels themselves, it is not immediately apparent how the yellowish colour and motifs have been applied however, and whilst I accept they may not be to everyones liking, they dont actually look like "naff and cheap" stickons *at all...the idea is very well & tastefully executed and looks the part intended! And ofcourse, this is basically how it actually looked on the original E61 machine.... a big flat glass panel with artwork on the back and a green neon light behind...particulartly spectacular at night.
2) The Splendor actually does come in another version WITHOUT the plexiglass panels and it is also in stock. *Ill see if I can attach a piccie shortly.
