    Record Attempt

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
My daughter wants to get into the record books.

Yesterday she made an espresso at 37 000 feet, enroute to Ballina from Sydney on a Virginblue flight.

Has anyone heard of a female under the age of 8 yrs making coffee at that altitude?

They let an eight year old girl carry an espresso machine on board as hand luggage? Surely they didnt let her use it till the seat belt sign was extinguished ;-)

The hostee brings the hot water, the machine is flushed a couple of times with it. Then the group is primed and tamped. New hot water is added to the plexiglass reservoir and hey PRESSO, you have espresso!
