Our Melbourne pickup point this month was the Maling Room.

Where is it?

Corner of Maling and Canterbury roads in the original Canterbury Post Office building which would make it the geographical centre of Canterbury I guess.

Andrew Lew (ex Maltitude, CoffeeSnob member and all round good guy) runs this fantastic cafe.

Walking into the building you are greeted with beautiful leadlight windows, high ornimental celings all in a fantastic 100 year-old building that oozes charm.

Andrew really looked after us. It was one of the most frantic times of the week for the cafe but we had a large table reserved for us to meet (prior to the car boot bean dealing on the footpath).

Once again it was great to meet some new friendly faces and catch-up with some regular CS visitors too. Its fun discussing coffee techniques with so many passionate CSrs, Im sure we all learn some new tricks while sharing ideas too.

So all in all.... Great company, great staff, top shots of coffee and perfect latte art makes this a place to put high on your "must visit" list.
