    Yes
Thanks Pberry thats a good recipe
But what is this upside down method?

    The Recipe
    Stockfleths aeropress recipe (Lukasz):

    Hot brew:
Start with the the Aeropress upside down.
    Pre washed filter
    19,5 (20) g coffee
Grind: 7. Similar to filter grind on Ditting grinder in Stockfleths stores.
    2 dl water
    Water temperature: 75 degrees Celsius
    Stir 4 times
Stop stirring, secure the filter an turn at ca 10 seconds.(Total contact time ca 15 sec.)
    Press.

This is called: "The upside-down method"

Flavour notes: Nutty aroma.Like hazelnuts. Nougat and caramel. Honeyflower. Fat, oily mouthfeel.

that sounds about what I do, 19.2gm and inverted for me. Ive always used the inverted method since buying it from The Coffee Barun and the guy there said it was the way they did it. makes sense really.

Hmm, something Ill have to try. Do people use that fancy polyester depth filtering material mentioned on one of those links? If so, where might it be available here?

    Cheers

    Re: 2009 World Aeropress Championships

I was also taught the inverted method--using the standard paper filters.

I have some terylene or nylon scrim curtain material that I have used to filter all sorts of foods for many years--Ill be giving that a try as the liquids pass through quite quickly. I like the idea that more of the oils/crema could pass through.

Ive had one of my surgery days re-assigned away from the espresso machine so something is going to need to be done about some good coffee!
