This year the exhibition was held at the Boston Convention & Exhibition Center in Boston Massachusetts. Here are some overview pics of the trade show floor as the vendors were setting up...

Toys! I must have new toys!!!
I'll add some pictures too...
Mostly a collection of eclectic shots around Boston that don't have much to do with SCAA except this was the town that the hosted the show.

Boston Marathon - Whiskey Priest - Barking Crab - James Hook Lobster - Food truck queue
The wharf area of Boston is full of places to eat and all have a seafood bias. At warmer times of the year (warmer than April anyway) I expect it would be great sitting on the water.
The food truck in the last shot was a Viet takeaway in the middle of town, the queue was insane... the others had nearly no queue. I would have loved to find out what made this truck worth standing there for an hour but I didn't.

Cajun Cajun Bourbon Chicken - Subway - Train Platform Lotto - Train Conductor - Wireless
Food at the train station was pretty good, the Bourbon Chicken, rice and veg was big enough for breakfast, lunch and dinner (gotta love US sized meal portions, big enough to feed a small village)
Subway system worked pretty well. Colour (err, color) coded system that costs $2.50 a ride was mostly easy for a tourist to make sense of.
Train lotto. An odd system on the inter city station where the platform is TBD until the last minute. Everyone hovers under the sign waiting to see which direction they have to run for the platform. Really odd system but worked.
Conductors! See Victoria, train conductors are a good thing, even in 2013. Bring them back... please.
Wireless. FREE! The inter town train had free sponsored wireless. A nice feature on public transport.

Roger Conant - Electric / Diesel Bus underground - Boston lights - Westin Hotel and Expo Centre - Boston Lobster
Changing trains in the subway system to get onto the "silver line" and I come up a level and oddly there is a platform without tracks... turns out that the subway becomes a bus underground which eventually comes up to street level. It runs on overhead power (like a Melbourne tram) while underground and reverts to diesel on the street.
