    Re: New staff member

Will there now be delays between order and dispacth times as the two perfectionists argue over whether or not a tamper is up to the high standards we expect?

Seriously though, congrats to JavaB on his new role.
    Im sure hell do well.

Is there a Pullman corporate wardrobe?
Three earings or something like that?

Good move and congrats to you both, hope it is a great partnership.

It would be a secret handshake wouldnt it rather than a corporate wardrobe?

Hey - does this mean that Robin can become the Face of Pullman Tampers that we all expected to see and didnt?

I know there was much joking at the time the "greg pullman" was surely some irascible semi-retired bloke with a beard and along comes JavaB who fits that description (ok perhaps not irascible. . .).

congrats both of you - sounds like a smart move to take PT to the next level!

Yep, I must admit I had the same expectation prior to meeting Greg at Epic the first time.

Dont know about the face of Pullman tampers though..... I think that will be reserved for Greg (and few will know what he looks like).

Im sure it will be beneficial to both of us - the quality of tampers you all know and love will continue..... and the ever growing demand will be met without any increased delay and pressure on Gregs family.

Look forward to lots of orders from the CS community. ;)

Thanks guys. Robs retired (well he was!) and has a beard so that was enough to fit the stereotype! ;D Seriously, Im sure whats worked well in the past will continue to, and that things will be able to continue and grow from here, and Robs a valuable part of that growth.

One option was actually to close everything down, so Robs entrance has thankfully thwarted that!

Great news for both of you. When I get the upgraditis on a new machine and finally get a commercial 58mm PF I will be calling on your expert engineering to create a pullman master piece that measures 57.92587456932145mm in diameter exactly. We know you can do JavaB. Your the Man. he he

Seriously Congrats on the great news.

Congratulations to the pair of you. It can be quite suprising how things grow to the point where assistance is required.
On my retirement I started to make an item for use in the baking industry, quite a simple thing really. Over a short span of time I found that I was shipping them worldwide and very soon reached the point where I couldnt cope with both manufacture and shipping, so I ended up wholesaleing via a prominent industry website. Your change has maintained the personal touch which is very desireable in the field of coffee appreciation.
    Once again, congratulations.

    Congrats Greg, Robin!

Recently got one of your tampers, and the quality of the tamping has directly increased the quality of the coffee at my café. I have got the other two staff using it all the time now, and its beautifully finished. Cheers, and all the best for a great business.

Yep big congrats to you both, surely a marriage made in heaven.
