What a shame we roast spammers in Australia *>:( You might want to look at this post http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1169531478 and consider spruking your companies products especially before posting anymore ::)

    Re: manual coffee grinder

The postings may be spams, but they raise some issues of interest (to me).

    1. The designs look very like machines that used to be sold by Zassenhaus. *I am unclear about the recent Zassenhaus history; but after disappearing for about one year, the company resurfaced with a totally different grinder design (which I have not explored).

    2. I currently own 2 Zadssenhaus grinders. One is rectangular, designed to be held between the knees. *It needs strength to turn the handle but 14 g.of grinds espresso-grind coffee in less than 1 minute. *The second one was their top-of-the-line model; its hopper is like the one in the spam-posts. It requires virtually no strength to grind coffee beans in it; but it takes about 3 minutes to gind 14 gram.

Hitherto, I have failed in my attemptds to find out whether my top-of-the-line model is a dud. *Partly because Zassenhaus had vanished from the web.

So I, for one, would be curious to read how the "spammer grinders" perform.

Zass in Australia has being hard to get due to the lack of an importer at this time from what I read a while back. My 45 year old kneemuhl Zass works a treat. I know of several people locally alone that have being stung with cheap chinese from ferralbay and these ones look very similar. and if in doubt check out the posters email adress admin@xyzgrinders.com >:(

The operative word is "had"; as the previous paragraph indicated.

However, other recent posts on Zassenhaus grinders suggest that my experiences with their (previously sold) "top of the range" model are what I should have expected.
