    Newby needs help

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Hi, this is my first post and I wonder if there is such a thing as a good burr grinder under $200. I am just starting out and gather that the grinder is as important as anything else in the coffeesnob world :-) I enjoy a good strongish espresso with cream and sugar and hope that doesnt eliminate me from being a coffeesnob. Thanks for any help. Missani

Hi Missani, "cream and sugar" sounds like youre from the US, Sunbeam make a great little conical burr grinder the EM450/480, it sells for around $130-200, does a good job, I have one as my backup grinder and it always reliable.

In fact, mine did such a great job I bought a second EM0450 so I can sit them alongside each other and have 2 different types of bean from which to choose as the mood takes me.

Neither of them has missed a beat and, at only $135 each from the GoodGuys, I cant go wrong.
