    ASCASO "I MINI" or "ROCKY"

    Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
    Hi! Guys!,

    * * * * * * Was looking at upgrading my grinder to either a *"ROCKY" or a ASCASO "I-mini" ( The I-mini being approx $100 cheaper)
    Does any one have input on the two grinders as they seem to be *identical burr sizes but the "mini" has a worm drive adjustment for grind setting and the Rocky doesnt.
    I really think i need a better grinder then my Sunbeam *Em0450 for my New RANCILIO SILVIA :D

    Definitely the Rocky if you can afford one.

    You may find it hard to find an i-mini. We received 1/2 of what we had on order in the last batch some months ago. The sadly defunct Diamond Services was the importer. There is no eta on further stocks...

    Have a read http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1244535219/3#3

    While the Ascaso is a step up from the 450 it is not much of a step up. Mod the 450 and maybe keep saving to Mazzer Macap etc??

    Hi Caffineguy,

    Youre correct. It seems that the shortage of i-mini is only in Victoria, as the original importer of Ascaso to Australia continues to bring the Ascaso Machines and Grinders and distribute it mainly in NSW.

    The entire range is available in stock, including the i-mini.

    PM about where and how to get it was sent.
