    Elektra Nino

Gene Cafe Coffee Roaster $850 - Free Beans Free Freight
Has anyone used this grinder ??

Very pricey, but looks like it would be more practical for the home user than the Kony or Robur.

I cant find anyone in Adelaide who carries it, so am looking for opinions from users.

    Cheers,

    buff

    hi buff
i had a play about two yrs ago at the cafe.
why do u say its more practical than kony or robur?
is that coz its doserless? in that case both kony and robur come in
that configuration (which u prob knew anyway).
its a pricey bit of shiny kit.

    hi aaron,
Ive read that there is a lot less grind retention than in the Mazzers, so us home users would have to waste a lot less coffee to ensure freshness. Dont know if its true...thats why Im seeing if anyone has hands-on experience with them. So, what did you think of it??
    cheers

    Hi buff,
I received my Nino a few days ago. Very happy with it so far. No clumping what-so-ever, and very little grind retention as you mention. It only took 2 shots to dial it in and then it produced some of the best shots I had ever made. Definitely worth every penny.

Actually, I bought mine used form the UK.

It is only 2 months old. It was taking up too much space in the previous owners kitchen so he had to down size.

The exchange rate is very good at the moment and the freight wasnt too bad considering it weighs 30kg.
